About Mayotte

Mayotte is a French overseas department in the Indian Ocean and part of the Comoros archipelago. Renowned for its vast lagoon, coral reefs and rich
biodiversity, the island is home to a vibrant African-Malagasy cultural heritage alongside French administrative structures. Despite its natural beauty, Mayotte is the poorest region in France and faces long-standing social and economic challenges.
In December 2024, Cyclone Chido caused widespread damage across the island, with the cyclone reportedly destroying 90% of the island's structures leaving many families dealing with unsafe housing, disrupted livelihoods and limited access to essential support. While the immediate emergency response has passed, long-term recovery remains uneven.
In response, we are launching a community-led gaming fundraiser to raise awareness, solidarity and practical support for Mayotte. The initiative brings together young people, families and the diaspora in a positive and accessible way, while also promoting digital skills, teamwork and community connection.
This campaign is about standing with Mayotte — amplifying community voices and supporting recovery beyond the headlines.

Organisers are not liable for lag, disconnections, or platform outages and will determine how disrupted matches are handled.

All participants must register before the stated deadline.
Organisers reserve the right to adjust schedules, match formats, or rules to ensure fairness and smooth operation.
Cheating, abusive language, or discriminatory behaviour will result in immediate disqualification.

The tournament is a fundraising initiative supporting recovery and community efforts in Mayotte.
Funds raised will be allocated in line with the initiative’s objectives, subject to operational and logistical timelines.
Organisers reserve the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the event if circumstances require.
